Turnout was consistently high for the three World Series of Poker (WSOP) bracelet events held on WSOP.ca this month.

However, when compared to the record-breaking fields at this year's WSOP, these online events, with their fields of 800-2,000-ish, may well represent some of the best chances for Ontario poker players to earn some WSOP gold.

Not to mention that you can take your shot at home, without having to leave the province.

The final day of each event is spaced out by a week, with plenty of Day 1 flights appearing on WSOP.ca ahead of the last push. So far there are three bracelets already awarded and eight bracelets total.

So, Ontario poker players still have a shot at five other events by signing up to WSOP.ca.

In the first week of the series, Event #1: $300 Gladiators of Poker Ontario Opener saw Mahmut “PokerKeeng” Zor take down the first bracelet, earning $38,304* in the process.

Mahmut Zor Makes Back To Back Final Tables

After winning a bracelet in The Opener, Zor wasn't done. By the time his shiny new bracelet slipped onto his wrist, he was already playing Event #2: $210 Mystery Millions.

Zor managed to make the final table of this mystery bounty event, earning himself $2,754 (not including bounties) for his ninth-place finish.

That also gave Zor the rare distinction of making back-to-back WSOP final tables.

With Zor out, the battle to be Ontario's second 2023 WSOP Online braceleter really got underway, eventually going to Hyundong “fishw33d” Kim who took down $27,298 for first and $7,590 in bounties, for $34,888 total.

WSOP Ontario Online Event #2: $210 Mystery Millions Final Table Results

Justin Ouimette Wins Bracelet For Ontario MILLION$ Mini Main Event

The bracelet for Event #3: $100 Ontario MILLION$ Mini Main Event went to Justin “Justin Ouimette” Ouimiette.

Ouimiette' topped out a field of 2,004 entries—the biggest of the series so far—netting himself a gold bracelet and the $25,369 first-place prize.

To win the event, Ouimiette had to take on Shahraz “Kyle Gene” Khan in a short heads-up confrontation that ended when Ouimiette picked up the A♦9♦ on the button. With blinds at 125,000/250,000 with a 60,000 ante, Ouimette raised to 525,000.

Ouimiette had roughly twice Khan's chip stack of 6,314,249. So when Khan moved in over Ouimette's bet with K♣Q♠, he was putting himself in danger.

Ouimiette called and held as the board ran out 7♦10♣2♠3♠2♥. Khan won $19,029 for second place.
