History

Norbert opened in Brockley, South-East London in February 2018. We offer breakfast and brunch during the day with a selection of home baked pastries and cakes as well as home baked sourdough. Evening time Norbert becomes a British/Modern European restaurant with an ambitious and stylish menu devised by our Head Chef Harry Milbourne, who has trained under Anthony Demetre of Wild Honey and Arbutus fame and under The Galvin Brothers at La Chapelle. Our drinks includes a range of biodynamic, vegan and organic wines procured from small producers by The knotted Vine, craft beers from local breweries, such as Brockley Brewery, Brick Brewery and Gipsy Hill Brewery , spirits from East London Liquor Company, sodas from Squareroot and bottled cocktails from the Bottle Shop. Our coffee is supplied by East London based coffee house Nude Espresso who roast their beans with environmental sustainability and ethical partnerships at the core of their operation
